Here, I will answer some of the most commonly asked questions I get. If there is something else you need to know, feel free to drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. How long have you been doing 3D art?
A. I’ve been doing 3D art for the better part of 2 years now, I’d say.
Q. How long have you been doing art in general and of what kind?
A. My entire life. I cannot remember a time that I did not have a pencil or marker or crayon in my hand. I work in several mediums; including pencil, ink, marker, chalk, charcoal, sculpture, photography … you name it.
Q. What prompted you to move to digital art?
A. It was a natural progression of mediums, really. I eventually came to a point that I could not faithfully reproduce what was in my imagination with the tools available to me. So, I found Photoshop and it simply progressed from there.
Q. What tools do you use for your 3D art?
A. My primary workflow consists of Daz Studio 4.5, Poser 2012, Luxrender, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS6. I also muck around a bit in Hexagon, ZBrush, Genetica, Particle Illusion and After Effects. Though, honestly, I will use whatever tool I have that best does what I need to accomplish at the time.
Q. Do you take commissions?
A. I do! Commission are currently open, as well! Take a look over at the Commissions page and we’ll get started!
